The 2012 MLB All-Star Game rosters were announced on Sunday afternoon, and four New York Yankees -- Robinson Cano, Derek Jeter, Curtis Granderson and CC Sabathia -- earned roster spots on the American League squad. Second basemen Cano, shortstop Jeter and outfielder Granderson will all be starters for the AL squad, while Sabathia will not play in the game due to an injury. The All-Star Game will be played on July 10 in Kansas City.

Overall, this will be Jeter's 13th All-Star Game appearance and his seventh straight. Meanwhile, Cano will be playing in his fourth and Granderson his third, while Sabathia was named to his sixth.

Surprisingly, for the third time in his career third basemen Alex Rodriguez did not make the All-Star Game roster.
