The New York Yankees will look to continue their winning ways Tuesday, as they host the Cleveland Indians in Game 2 of a three-game set at the Yankee Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET on MY9). NYY's Phil Hughes (7-6) will oppose Justin Masterson (4-6) as the Yankees look for their eighth victory in 10 games.
The recent string of victories has vaulted New York (44-28) to the top of the MLB standings as they now have the best record in baseball, while the Indians (37-35) are hoping to snap a three-game losing streak.
Tonight's contest will also be a part of the 38th birthday of Yankees' captain and shortstop Derek Jeter. The Yankees earned a 7-1 victory Monday in Game 1.
