Yankees (41-26) Vs. Braves (36-32) Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

After seeing their 10-game winning streak get snapped on Tuesday, the New York Yankees will look to take the series from the Atlanta Braves with a win on Wednesday afternoon.

New York has been the hottest team in baseball recently and will need a nice performance from Phil Hughes (7-5) to secure another victory. Hughes has pitched well in recent outings after a rough start to the season.Since April 25, Hughes has lowered his earned-run average from 7.88 to 4.50 In his last three starts, Hughes has thrown 21.1 innings and only allowed four earned runs while striking out 23 batters. Not surprisingly, he's earned a win in all of those outings.

On the other side is Tommy Hanson, who has been a stalwart for the Braves all season. Hanson is 2-0 in his last three appearances and with a 7-4 record, has a chance of making the All-Star team.

The best thing about Hanson is his consistency. Only twice this season has he given up more than two earned runs in any start.

If the Bronx Bombers can find a way to emerge victorious on Wednesday, they'll be winners of their last six series before heading into Flushing to take on the New York Mets.
