The New York Red Bulls looks to bounce back from Sunday's disappointing 3-1 loss to the Chicago Fire when they travel to British Columbia Wednesday night to face the Vancouver Whitecaps in an MLS match at BC Place. Match time is 11 p.m. ET. MSG+ will televise the game.
The loss to Chicago was New York's first in seven matches. The Red Bulls (8-4-2, 27 points) are third in the Eastern Conference. They will be playing without Thierry Henry (calf strain) and Rafa Marquez (thigh contusion) for the second straight game. Defender Wilman Conde will not play as he continues to recover from a leg injury. Mehdi Ballouchy will not travel to Canada due to green card issues.
Vancouver is 7-3-4 for 17 points, third in the Western Conference. The Whitecaps are unbeaten in their last five home matches, winning four of those.
Red Bulls coach Hans Backe will not me at the match as he will be attending to personal matters.
