Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Red Bulls won their second consecutive game on Saturday, as they defeated the Montreal Impact.

Sanna Nyassi got Montreal on the board early, but it was New York – specifically Thierry Henry, who recorded his first career MLS hat trick – the rest of the way. Henry answered Nyassi's goal in the 28th minute, tying the game. He then scored again in the 56th minute and topped it off with his third goal in the final minute.

Kenny Cooper and Mehdi Ballouchy also scored goals for the Red Bulls. Ballouchy was also shown a yellow card for a tackle from behind.

The Red Bulls are now 2-2 on the young season. Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 7, when they travel to Columbus to face the Crew.
