The New York Red Bulls received news today regarding forward Juan Agudelo that they had been fearing. Agudelo will undergo surgery today to repair a torn medial meniscus in his left knee, an injury he suffered recently while with the United States Under-23 Men’s National Team participating in the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Qualifying Tournament.

Agudelo, 19, was hurt during a 6-0 United States victory over Cuba.
