MLS Power Rankings: Rating The MLS Cup Contenders

Our friends at SBNation.com, otherwise known as the mothership, have issue MLS Power Rankings looking at contenders for this year's MLS Cup.

The New York Red Bulls are No. 3 on that list. Here is what SB Nation had to say about the Red Bulls.

Barring a surprising turnaround, NYRB will finish atop the Eastern Conference. With 29 points at home (nine wins, two ties), they are going to be the favorites in any match played at Red Bull Arena. Even before they had Thierry Henry and Rafa Marquez, this was a team bound for the playoffs. Now, they are one of the most talented MLS sides ever assembled.

SB Nation ranks Real Salt Lake as No. 1, followed by the Los Angeles Galaxy.
