New York, NY (Sports Network) – Ryan Callahan, Michal Rozsival, and Brandon Dubinsky each had a goal and an assist, as the New York Rangers held off the New Jersey Devils, 3-1, at Madison Square Garden.
Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 27-of-28 shots for the Rangers, who have won three in a row. It was also the first home victory of the season for New York.
Ilya Kovalchuk, who was a healthy scratch against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night, scored the lone goal for the Devils, who started a six-game road trip on Sunday.
Martin Brodeur stopped 31-of-33 shots in defeat for New Jersey, which has dropped four of five.
