Citi Field plays host to a possible pitcher's duel as the New York Yankees face the New York Mets in Game 3 of the season's second Subway Series. CC Sabathia will take the mound for the Yankees and face R.A. Dickey for the Mets. Sabathia has won four of his last five starts, and is 3-1 with a 2.25 ERA against the Mets. Dickey is having the best year of his career, already tied with his highest number of wins in a season, leading the league in wins and near the top of the standings in strikeouts.
The two teams have split the series so far, with the Mets taking Game 1, 6-4, and the Yankees winning Game 2 by a score of 4-3. Television coverage is on ESPN beginning at 8 p.m. EDT.
