Jeremy Lin Free Agency Rumors: Lin Reportedly Signs Rockets Offer Sheet, Knicks Will Likely Match

New York Knicks free agent guard Jeremy Lin has reportedly signed the Houston Rockets offer sheet.

The Knicks will have three days to match and likely will match the offer (via David Aldridge). The Rockets have reportedly offered Lin three years for $25.1 million, which is less than an original rumored four-year, $28 million offer. The Rockets have still backloaded Lin's deal. He is set to receive $5 million in year one, $5.225 million in year two and a whopping $14.988 million in year three (via David Aldridge).

Lin seemingly came out of nowhere last season and helped the Knicks make the playoffs. Lin played in 35 games (started 25) before a knee injury ended his season. He averaged 14.6 points, 6.2 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game in 26.9 minutes.
