In his latest 2012 NBA Mock Draft at SB Nation, Tom Ziller projects that Moe Harkless of St. John's and Andrew Nicholson of St. Bonaventure will be selected with the 23rd and 24th picks, respectively, in the upcoming NBA Draft.
Ziller projects that Harkless will land with the Atlanta Hawks at No. 23 and Nicholson will go one spot later at No. 24 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Harkless performed very poorly in John Hollinger's statistical-based pre-draft rankings, but scouts realize his game needs a lot of development. His upside is considerable based on the combination of his skill level and his prototypical size for a wing.
Nicholson is considered more NBA-ready, though his average athleticism causes some concern. He has an inside-outside game that some scouts liken to David West's, and his stock took a boost when he brought St. Bonaventure to the NCAA tournament this past season for the first time since 2000.
