Amar'e Stoudemire Injury: Knicks Forward Cuts Hand Punching Fire Extinguisher After Game 2 Loss

Amare Stoudemire cut his hand after punching a fire extinguished in the New York Knicks locker room following their Game 2 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday night. The injury, originally reported by Yahoo! Sports, appears to be quite serious according to Knicks sideline reporter Tina Cervasio.

Stay tuned as more could be forthcoming. Stoudemire has struggled through a back injury this season, but put up decent numbers Monday night. He finished with 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting, adding seven rebounds.
