The return of star forward Amare Stoudemire didn't go so well the first time around, on Sunday the New York Knicks will try to ease the worries of their fan base when visit the Atlanta Hawks and Phillips Arena (1 p.m. ET on ESPN/MSG Network).

For New York (33-30), this will be one of its final three regular-season games before it begins the postseason. However, its final spot in the playoffs hasn't been decided yet, as the Knicks are in a tie with the Philadelphia 76ers for seventh-place in the Eastern Conference standings.

A victory Sunday would pull them ahead of the Sixers by a 1/2-game, while a loss would drop them into eighth place.
