The New York Knicks officially clinched a playoff spot on Thursday night, when the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers. At 33-29, the Knicks reside in the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference, with a one-game cushion on the eighth seed, the Philadelphia 76ers.
Only four games remain in the regular season, two of which the Knicks will play this weekend – both on the road. First, the Knicks will travel to Cleveland to face Kyrie Irving and the Cavs on Friday, followed by a match-up with the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
The big story of the weekend is the return of Amar'e Stoudemire. STAT has been out since March 24, with a bulging disk in his back, but confirmed he would be back in the lineup on Friday. The Knicks have gone 9-4 in his absence.
