Knicks Vs. Bobcats: New York Tries For Third Straight Victory

The New York Knicks will be looking to avenge a loss while trying to extended their current winning streak to three games Monday, as they host the Charlotte Bobcats in a Eastern Conference contest at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks (4-4) lost to the Bobcats (2-6) less than a week ago, 118-110, but since then have rallied off two straight victories, including a dominating effort against the Detroit Pistons Saturday.

New York is trying to turn around its current struggles at home, which feature losses in two of its first three games. Forward Carmelo Anthony will also be looking for a rebound effort after netting a season-low 13 points Saturday.

Meanwhile, Charlotte has lost two straight since beating New York. The latest loss came against the Indiana Pacers, 99-77, on Saturday.

Point guard D.J. Augustine leads the Bobcats in scoring with 17.2 points per game, but every Knicks fan will be looking forward to New York native, rookie guard Kemba Walker, return to the Big Apple for the second time in less than a week.
