Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire has been ruled out of tonight’s game with the New Jersey Nets with a sprained ankle he suffered in Wednesday’s victory over the Philadephia 76ers. Chauncey Billups, who re-injured his thigh on Wednesday, is expected to play.
Stoudemire’s only other regular season game missed was the Knicks’ last visit to the Prudential Center, a 105-95 win for the pre-Carmelo win for the Knicks back on February 12.
The Nets are also missing a big star, as it was announced that Deron Williams will undergo wrist surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
