Celtics 105, Knicks 101: Boston's Rajon Rondo Gets 24 Assists, Triple-Double

Boston, MA (Sports Network) – Rajon Rondo had a career-high 24 assists and rounded out his triple-double with 10 rebounds and 10 points, as the Boston Celtics held on for a 105-101 win over the New York Knicks.

Paul Pierce finished with 25 points and 14 boards, while Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, who rebounded from Wednesday’s loss in Cleveland.

Glen Davis provided a spark off the bench with 16 points and six rebounds, helping Boston beat New York for the 11th time in their last 13 matchups.

Amare Stoudemire had 27 points and eight rebounds to pace the Knicks, who had won their season-opener Wednesday in Toronto.
