Bills Vs. Jets Final Score: New York Wins, 48-28

The New York Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills, 41-28, on Sunday at Metlife Stadium.

The Jets offense looked unstoppable on Sunday after an underwhelming preseason. A Jeremy Kerley touchdown reception from Mark Sanchez gave the Jets a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. Then, the Jets exploded for 20 points in the second quarter and 14 more in the third quarter while the Bills scored just 14 total points over the same stretch. The Bills had 14 points in the fourth quarter but a Jets' touchdown pushed the lead back to 20 points.

The Jets defense gave up more points than they would have liked but the secondary had three interceptions on the day. All three interceptions set up a Jets touchdown, including one from a 40-yard return touchdown by Antonio Cromartie.

Sanchez finished the game 19-of-27 passing for 266 yards, 3 touchdowns and one interception. Tim Tebow did not attempt a pass for the Jets and only played on a limited number of snaps in the blowout. Running back C.J. Spiller was a bright spot for the Bills with a career-high 169 yards and a touchdown. Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis had to leave the game in the fourth quarter after attempting to tackle Spiller and getting kicked in the head by teammate Bart Scott. Revis intercepted Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on Buffalo's first drive.

The Jets will next play the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday at Heinz Field. The Bills will take on the Chiefs next Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
