The New York Jets avoided any serious injuries on Sunday in their loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The New York Jets didn't suffer any major injuries in their 27-10 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday evening.
The biggest news involves fullback John Conner, who re-injured his MCL after initially spraining it in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. Conner is now scheduled to get an MRI on Monday afternoon.
Shonn Greene was also roughed up a bit and needed to sit out a few series after taking a big hit, but returned to the game and is expected to play as usual going forward.
New York came into the game without a trio of important players including of course Darrelle Revis, who was sidelined with a concussion. Dustin Keller was also out with a hamstring issue while Bryan Thomas sat out as well.
Next Sunday the Jets will travel to take on the Miami Dolphins, a suddenly dangerous team after their 35-13 beating of the Oakland Raiders.
