New York Jets quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow recovered on Monday at training camp after a Sunday in which they both went 1-for-7 passing in full team drills.

Sanchez was 6-of-10 and ran 18 snaps while Tebow was 4-of-5 and took 13 full team snaps. Sanchez was 5-of-8 in 7-on-7s while Tebow was 3-of-4. Sanchez thought the offense performed better on Monday. He also had cornerback Antonio Cromartie available to him as a wide receiver but did not throw in his direction. Sanchez said about the "Cro Package", "Cro was on an extra-special top-secret route that nobody knows except me and the rest of the offense." (via NJ.com)

Despite the much discussed comments from the coaching staff about a wildcat package with Tebow, the Jets have run no plays out of a wildcat look so far in training camp. Tebow did have a 25-yard scramble which was cheered by the fans in attendance. He was not cheered by offensive coordinator Tony Sparano for missing on a deep throw to Chaz Schilens, who had a rough day himself. Sparano wanted Tebow to check down on the play.
