Stephen Hill Injury Update: Jets' Wide Receiver Misses Practice With Tight Hamstring

Stay connected for news and updates

New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill, the team's second-round draft pick, missed Thursday's practice session to rest a tight hamstring.

Given his status as a lightning-fast 6-foot-4 receiver, Hill has been labeled with several lofty comparisons, including some to fellow Georgia Tech product Calvin Johnson. The Jets have been very high on his potential and he figures to give the team a deep threat it has lacked in recent seasons.

Hill plans to return at least in time for the Jets' mini-camp, which will be held in Florham Park, N.J., from June 12-14.
