2012 NFL Draft Rumors: New York Jets Could Trade-Up For Chandler Jones

Stay connected for news and updates

The 2012 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and just as quickly is the rumors surrounding the New York Jets and Syracuse defensive end Chandler Jones. There's one rumor out there that is linking both together, as ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini is reporting that New York would like to try and trade-up and snag Jones.

Jones (6-foot-5, 265 pounds) has been soaring up draft boards and has been linked to many different teams, the most immediate being the Seattle Seahawks who pick No. 12 overall. If Seattle is interested in Jones, it would effect the Jets who're picking No. 16 overall.

None of the major mock drafts have this as an option for the Jets, but anything is a possibility.
