Though the New York Jets do not have a quarterback vacancy, the team is nonetheless excited about acquiring Tim Tebow, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The feeling in Jets' organization about the Tim Tebow trade is very positive. Source tells me, "I would never bet against Tebow."

Tebow was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Jets earlier Wednesday, reportedly in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

It's unclear as of now whether the Jets traded for Tebow solely as a backup quarterback or plan to try him out at other positions.
