In its latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, the popular draft site ‘Draft Tek’ has chosen Alabama outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw for the New York Jets. Upshaw and his former Crimson Tide teammate, safety Mark Barron, have been the most popular picks for the Jets among the mock drafts at this point.
Draft Tek happily refers to the simulation’s selection of Upshaw for the Jets as a “slam dunk.”
The Draft Tek mock is full seven-rounder. Here are the remaining selections for the Jets:
Round 2 (47th overall): Levy Adcock, OT, Oklahoma State
Round 3 (78th overall): Aaron Henry, FS, Wisconsin
Round 4 (108th overall): Ronnie Hillman, RB, San Diego State
Round 5 (146th overall): Derek Wolfe, DE, Cincinnati
Round 6 (177th overall): Kirk Cousins, QB, Michigan State
Round 7 (208th overall): Lance Lewis, WR, East Carolina
