Week 14 NFL Power Rankings: Jets Vault Into Top 10; Giants Have Mixed Results

Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Jets won Sunday, while the Giants lost a close one to the unbeaten Green Bay Packers. How did it affect each teams NFL Power Rankings? SB Nation New York has the details.

The New York Jets earned their second straight victory Sunday, 34-19, at the Washington Redskins, and the consecutive wins have helped Gang Green move up in the national Week 14 NFL Power Rankings. Last week, the Jets were ranked No. 15 in the NFL.com's rankings and not ranked by SI.com's Peter King's, who on Mondays ranks only the top 15 teams, but Tuesday was ranked No. 11 and No. 8, respectively.

This is the first time in four weeks, that the Jets have been ranked in King's poll, which has had New York out of the top 15 since Nov. 14.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants, who gave the unbeaten Green Bay Packers a run for its money Sunday, had mixed results in the national rankings. The Giants moved up in the NFL.com rankings (No. 13 to No. 12), but dropped in King's rankings (No. 13 to No. 12).
