Jets At Eagles: Game Day Overview

Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Jets (8-5) travel to Lincoln Financial Field today (4:15 p.m. ET/CBS) to play the Philadelphia Eagles (5-8). A fourth straight victory would go a long way toward securing a playoff berth for New York.

Can the Jets get that victory?

KEYS TO THE GAME: How much will the Jets miss safety Jim Leonhard, out for the season after suffering a knee injury last Sunday? … The Eagles are pretty healthy offensively, with quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the lineup. Can the Jets contain the Eagles big-play offense? … Can the Jets ‘Ground and Pound’ offense control the clock against a Philadelphia team that has at times struggled against the run?

KEY INJURIES: In addition to Leonhard, the Jets will be without defensive back Marquice Cole (knee).

THE LINE: The Jets have the superior record, and seemingly more to play for, but the Eagles are still a three-point favorite at home.
