New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress missed practice Wednesday with the lower-back injury that hindered him last week, but did not stop him from playing in this past Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. In that game, Burress recorded five receptions for 79 yards in a 27-11 Jets win.
Running back Joe McKnight also missed practiced with a toe injury, as did safety Brodney Pool with a knee injury.
Defensive lineman Marcus Dixon (shoulder) and linebacker Josh Mauga (low back) were both limited during Wednesday's practice.
Defensive tackle Mike Devito (knee), defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (ankle), running back Shonn Greene (head, groin), wide receiver Santonio Holmes (foot), center Nick Mangold (ankle), linebacker Calvin Pace (groin), guard Matt Slauson (neck) and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring) were all full participants in the practice session.
