New York Jets Friday Injury Report: Plaxico Burress, Mike DeVito, Kenrick Ellis Questionable Against Buffalo Bills

Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Jets enter Sunday's important divisional bout against the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills with four starters listed as questionable.

Wide receiver Plaxico Burress (low back), defensive tackle Mike DeVito (knee), defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (ankle) and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring) are all listed as questionable for Sunday.  They all participated on a limited basis in Friday's practice.

According to a Newark Star-Ledger report, Burress began experiencing tightness in his back on Monday, but expects to play this weekend.

Defensive tackle Marcus Dixon (knee), linebacker David Harris (ankle), center Nick Mangold (ankle), linebacker Calvin Pace (groin) and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (knee) are listed as probable.

The Bills will be without the services of tackle Demetrius Bell (shoulder), cornerback Aaron Williams (chest) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (foot).

Tackle Chris Hairston (ankle) and linebacker Chris Kelsay (calf) are questionable. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick (chest), wide receiver Donald Jones (ankle), guard Andy Levitre (shoulder) and running back Johnny White (illness) are probable.

Fitzpatrick has been limited in practice with a chest bruise, but the Buffalo News reports "it's not significant enough to keep the quarterback from playing Sunday."
