Jets Thursday Injury Update: Plaxico Burress Misses Second Straight Practice With Lower-Back Injury

All's quiet on the injury report for the New York Jets. Wide receiver Plaxico Burress missed practice with the lower back injury that kept him out of Wednesday practice and running back Joe McKnight (toe) and safety Brodney Pool (knee) also missed practice for the second consecutive day.

Defensive tackle Marcus Dixon (shoulder) and linebacker Joshua Mauga (low back) were both limited in practice Thursday, as they were on Wednesday.

The following nicked up players were listed as full participants in Thursday's practice: cornerback Antonio Cromartie (finger), defensive tackle Mike Devito (knee), defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (ankle), running back Shonn Greene (head, groin), wide receiver Santonio Holmes (foot), offensive tackle Wayne Hunter (finger), center Nick Mangold (ankle), linebacker Calvin Pace (groin), defensive tackle Sione Pouha (finger), guard Matt Slauson (neck) and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring).

Of those full participants, only Cromartie, Hunter and Puha's injuries were not listed on Wednesday's report, as well. Click here for an update on the injury status of the New England Patriots.
