New York Jets center Nick Mangold missed his second straight practice Thursday, but cornerback Antonio Cromartie returned to limited practice after missing a day with a groin injury. Mangold, who has yet to completely recover from the high-ankle sprain he sustained Week 2 against Jacksonville, is expected to play Sunday against the Chargers, as is Cromartie. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson returned to full practice after missing Wednesday's session for non-injury reasons.
Cornerback Isaiah Trufant missed his second straight practice with a hamstring injury, while linebacker Ropati Pitoitua (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Wednesday. Defensive tackle Mike Devito (knee) also made limited participation Thursday.
Jets who made full participation included: cornerback Marquice Cole (hamstring), defensive tackle Marcus Dixon (knee), running back Joe McKnight (knee), long snapper Tanner Pardum (back), cornerback Donald Strickland (concussion) and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder).
