Peyton Manning just connected with Pierre Garcon on a 57-yard pass play to break a 0-0 tie.
The New York Jets defense has been stout all game but that was Manning being Manning. I perfect route ran by Garcon and a perfect throw by Manning.
Antonio Cromatrie was the defense back on the coverage. Cromartie seemed to have fallen down as the ball was being delivered to Garcon, who walked into the end zone.
The play capped a five-play, 80-yard drive. It was the Colts second possession of the quarter.
The Jets lone possession of the quarter went six plays and 36 yards but ended in a punt.
