- The New York Jets toppled Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in Monday Night Football, 29-20. Dwight Lowery's interception and return for a touchdown sealed the deal for the 4-1. - Monday was a big hockey day around these parts. The Rangers and Islanders squared off, with the Isles winning 6-4, and the Devils lost to Pittsburgh, 3-1.
