Believe it or not, the New York Jets suddenly have a shot to make the playoffs in the AFC
The Jets have won three of four. Yes, they were against awful teams -- the St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars -- and they last two victories were pitifully ugly. They count, however.
The Jets are 6-7, a game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals for the final playoff spot in the AFC. They also have a soft schedule over the final three games.
- at the 4-9 Tennessee Titans
- vs. the 5-8 Chargers
- at the 5-8 Bills
Those are all winnable games for the Jets. Of course, they are all also losable games, as well. However, with that schedule you have to think it might be possible for the Jets to run the table and reach the playoffs.
