Jets' injury report: Members of New York's defense limited in Thursday's practice

Five members of the Jets' defense were limited participants in the team's practice Thursday.

As the New York Jets prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks on the road Sunday, their injury report of limited participants in Thursday's practice was long.

Safety Eric Smith (knee), linebacker Bart Scott (toe), defensive tackle Sione Po'uha (back), safety LaRon Landry (heel) and defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (knee) were all listed on the team's official injury report as limited members of practice. Additionally, running back Bilal Powell (shoulder) was limited and fellow backer Joe McKnight (ankle) did not participate at all.

Center Nick Mangold, nursing an ankle injury, was also limited in Thursday's practice.

For the Seahawks, six starters, including safety Kam Chancellor, defensive end Red Bryant and linebacker K.J. Wright missed practice Thursday, along with running back Marshawn Lynch, who is suffering both wrist and back ailments. Thursday was the second straight day of practice that Lynch has missed.
