Jets' injury report: LB Bart Scott doubtful against Dolphins

Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE

It is looking likely that Jets linebacker Bart Scott will sit out on Sunday, which would end an impressive streak.

The Jets released their final injury report Friday for their upcoming game against the Dolphins, and no players were identified as "out." Despite that, the list is long for New York, and is full of players on both sides of the ball.

Linebacker Bart Scott is a longshot to play. Scott has been battling turf toe, and will end 119-game playing streak if he misses the game against Miami on Sunday. Offensive tackle Jason Smith missed practice on Friday, and is listed as probable with a "non-football" situation.

Miami has a much shorter injury list, with cornerback Richard Marshall being the only player likely to be out on Sunday.

New York hosts the Dolphins in an important AFC East matchup. Miami has won two straight games, and now sits ahead of the Jets in the standings. New York will try and bounce back from an overtime loss to the Patriots last Sunday that could have put them in first place in the division.
