The New York Jets lead the Indianapolis Colts, 28-6, after three quarters at MetLife Stadium

After taking a 21-6 lead to halftime, the Jets added another score in the third quarter on a 4-yard run by Shonn Greene. Greene's touchdown capped a seven-play, 91-yard drive that put New York ahead, 28-3, with less than two minutes left in the quarter.

Indianapolis led early after a 20-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri in the first quarter, but New York rallied and scored 21 points in the second quarter. Vinatieri also hit a 50-yard field goal for the Colts in the second quarter.

Quarterback Mark Sanchez was 10-of-17 passing through three quarters, throwing for 71 yards and two touchdowns.

Jets' running back Greene carried 19 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the first three quarters. Joe McKnight also had 71 yards for the Jets on just three carries.

Indianapolis rookie quarterback Andrew Luck was 15-of-28 passing for 176 yards in the first three quarters. Luck was picked once, by Antonio Cromartie, leading to a Jets touchdown.

The Colts are 2-2 on the season, coming off a 30-27 win over the Green Bay Packers a week ago. The Jets are 2-3 thus far in 2012 after losing, 23-17, to the Houston Texans last week.

The game is being broadcast on CBS.
