New York earned its third consecutive victory on Thursday by riding Josh Bailey to a 5-3 triumph against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night at the Nassau Coliseum. Bailey registered two goals and three assists for his first career five-goal game, giving the 22-year old 12 points in his last six games.
Boston has a four-game point streak, but fell in a shootout to the Washington Capitals on Thursday night, 3-2. The Bruins clinched a playoff berth while idle on Friday night when the Penguins bumped off the Buffalo Sabres 5-3.
