Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Islanders (19-22-6) will meet the Toronto Maple Leafs (24-19-5) tonight at the Nassau Coliseum (MSG Plus 2) at 7 p.m. to finish off a home-and-home series.

The Islanders fell 3-0 to the Maple Leafs on Monday night in Toronto. The Maple Leafs got their goals from Matthew Lombardi and Phil Kessel. The loss ended a three-game win streak for the Isles. The shutout of New York (the eighth this season) snapped John Tavares' 12-game point streak. Goaltender Evgeni Nabokov's four-game win streak is also over. Tonight's game is the final game for either team before the All-Star break.

The Maple Leafs have won both games of the season series so far. The final game of the season series will take place on March 20 in Toronto.
