Stay connected for news and updates

The Islanders have been hot lately, but will be looking for a measure of revenge against the Blackhawks.

In their last five games, the Islanders only non-win was a shootout loss to the Blackhawks. Six days later, New York gets Chicago on its home ice with a shot at redemption.

Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews dominated the Islanders last time out, tallying a goal and an assist in regulation, then netting the lone score in the shootout to deliver the victory, 5-4.

The Islanders have been on a mini-tear as of late, without a regulation loss in their last five games. Matt Moulson has been at the front of the charge, scoring six goals and handing out two assists in his last three games, including four scores in a 5-4 win against Dallas on Dec. 3.

Game Time: 7 p.m. ET, Thursday, Dec. 8.
Location:
Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, New York
