New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks told coach Tom Coughlin he expects to be ready for the team's training camp at the end of July, Coughlin shared with reporters Tuesday at a charity golf outing.
Hakeem Nicks told his HC he'll be back soon. " 'I'll be back for training camp' were his final words," Tom Coughlin told reporters.

Nicks was originally expected to miss up to 12 weeks while recovering from a broken foot he suffered during an OTA last week, but the timetable was reportedly reduced to 4-6 weeks after doctors discovered the injury wasn't as bad as initially feared.
With 76 catches for 1,192 yards and seven touchdowns last season, Nicks was a major reason the Giants won the Super Bowl.
