New York Giants Sign Three Picks From 2012 NFL Draft

Stay connected for news and updates

The new collective bargaining agreement makes it easier for NFL teams to sign their rookie draft picks, without fear of holdouts. The New York Giants have recently agreed to terms with three picks.

The players recently signed: First round pick, David Wilson, third round pick, Jayron Hosley, and sixth round pick, Matt McCants. Terms have yet to be disclosed on Wilson's contract, but Mike Garfolo from The Star-Leger speculates:

According to his slotting as the 32nd overall pick, Wilson was in line to receive a signing bonus of about $3.3 million. But unlike the other picks, that bonus is more negotiable. At least that's the way it was explained to me. I'll get you the full details when they're available.

The only two picks who remained unsigned are second rounder, Rueben Randle and seventh rounder, Markus Kuhn. Even unsigned, rookies can still participate in mini-camp.
