The New York Giants addressed their need for a tight end during the 2012 NFL free agency period, freeing the organization to look elsewhere in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
During his latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, Sports Illustrated's Don Banks predicts that the Giants will use their No. 32 first-round pick to select Bobby Massie, a 6-foot-6, 316-pound offensive tackle from Ole Miss.
Well why not get Eli Manning a potential starter at right tackle who also happens to be a fellow former Rebel? Massie is right on the verge of a first-round grade, and at 6-6, 316 pounds, he has outstanding size and reach by NFL standards. If the Giants surprise us and go running back, Miami's Lamar Miller and Boise State's Doug Martin are the names to keep an eye on.
Massie began the draft process as a likely third-rounder, but is climbing the draft boards due to his impressive physical gifts.
