On Saturday, SI.com's Inside The NFL columnist Don Banks projected that the New York Giants would select Florida State offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders with the No. 31-overall pick in his latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft. On Sunday, SI.com's Tony Pauline, also a Inside the NFL columnist, posted his risers and sliders from the 2012 Senior Bowl, and, unfortunately, Sanders was on the list of those players sliding.
"Sanders' tough week of practice continued through the game," said Pauline of Sanders, who's South team lost 23-13 in the All-Star exhibition game. "He was constantly off balance, rarely moved opponents off the ball run blocking and was pushed back into the pocket on several occasions. Sanders also displayed poor footwork in pass protection and little ability to slide out and protect the edge"
The Florida St. Seminole athletic website has Sanders listed at 6-foot-6 and 306-pounds.
