Defensive end Osi Umenyiora, who had arthroscopic knee surgery during the preseason, hopes to make his season debut Sunday when the New York Giants face the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.

“We’re going to have to wait and see what Coach Coughlin says,” said Umenyiora. “I feel like I can, but depending on what he says and however they decide to use me, we’ll just go from there.”

Defensive end Justin Tuck did not practice due to neck and groin issues. He is listed as questionable, but indications are that he will play.
