UDFA Signings: Giants, Jets Begin Collecting Players

NFL teams can begin signing undrafted free agents this morning. The mad scramble to collect these players began Monday night when the league gave teams permission to begin negotiations.

As of right now, here are the players who have been connected to the New York Giants and New York Jets, via a variety of sources.

New York Giants

Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh
Jarriel King, OT, South Carolina
Martin Parker, DT, Richmond
David Sims, SS, Iowa State

The Hynoski signing could be a huge get for the Giants. Madison Hedgecock has been injured an ineffective the past couple of seasons, and Bear Pascoe is a blocking tight end who did an adequate job filling in. Pascoe could return to the blocking tight end role, helping the Giants on two fronts, provided that Hynoski can handle the fullback job.

New York Jets

Josh Baker, TE, NW Missouri State
