Rex Ryan is known for being brash and outspoken, but when you lose, that can sometimes blow up in your face. Ryan spent most of the week reiterating how important it was for the New York Jets to defeat the New York Giants and become the kings of football in the Big Apple, but his team wasn't able to back up his words, and after the Giants' 29-14 victory on Saturday, Ryan and Brandon Jacobs got into a verbal altercation as the teams walked off the field.

Here, according to both Jacobs and an independent source, is a bit of what was exchanged between the two:

Rex Ryan and Brandon Jacobs got into it after the game. Jacobs said "I told him to shut the f--- up." Ryan then told him "Go f--- yourself."
