Giants Vs. Jets Score Update: Sanchez Touchdown Run Brings Score To 20-14 Giants

Stay connected for news and updates

It wasn't easy, but the New York Jets have narrowed what looked to be a commanding New York Giants lead to 20-14. The Jets scored their second touchdown on the day on a one-yard touchdown run by Mark Sanchez with 7:17 left in the fourth, which came after a Giants penalty on 3rd & 12 that brought the ball down to the one yard line.

It looked as if the Giants had the game locked up early in the fourth after a Sanchez fumble gave the Giants the ball with a two score lead and under 10 minutes to go. But on first down the Giants elected to throw, and Eli Manning's pass was deflected into the hands of David Harris, who returned the ball to the Giants 11.
