A record-setting 99-yard touchdown reception by wide receiver Victor Cruz from quarterback Eli Manning has helped the New York Giants earn a 10-7 halftime lead over the and New York Jets in a New York state rival game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Cruz's eighth touchdown of the season was the longest in franchise history and gave the Giants, who were facing a 3rd-and-10 situation from their own 1-yard line, a huge boost of momentum heading into the locker room.

Trailing 7-0 after the first quarter, the Giants (7-7) began the second quarter by capping a nine-play, 53-yard drive with a 21-yard field goal by kicker Lawrence Tynes, who trimmed the Jets lead to 7-3 with 11:51 to go in the first half.

With 2:27 to go in the half, the Jets marched down the field and setup a 41-yard field goal by kicker Nick Folk, who missed it wide right.

Statistically, Manning has completed 7-of-18 passes for 181 yards, while Jets' quarterback Mark Sanchez is 18-of-28 for 145yards and a touchdown, which came in the first quarter and helped the Jets take an early 7-0 advantage.

Cruz has two catches for 128 yards.
