Ahmad Bradshaw Injury A Broken Foot, New York Giants' Running Back Reportedly Out Indefinitely

Stay connected for news and updates

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is out indefinitely after suffering a broken foot Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to a Newark Star-Ledger report.

A source told the Star-Ledger that Bradshaw is deciding whether to have corrective surgery after cracking a bone in his foot. Bradshaw has had previous problems with his feet, including a prior bone crack injury which required offseason surgery to insert screws into both his feet.

Bradshaw exited the Miami game to undergo X-rays, but did return. At the time, he was thought to have no structural damage.

With Bradshaw shelved indefinitely, backup Brandon Jacobs could get his wish for more carries. Jacobs has been outspoken about his lack of touches this season and last discussed his unhappiness with a minimal role after carrying the ball just four times for 10 yards against Miami.
