Giants Vs. Eagles Score Update: Scoreless After First Quarter

Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are locked in in their NFC East rivalry on this Sunday night. Their defenses have locked each other down through the first quarter, though, and the game is heading to the second quarter tied at 0-0.

Eli Manning has thrown an interception for the Giants, while Prince Amukamara, playing in his first career NFL game, snagged an underthrown Vince Young pass for his first career interception.

Manning has completed just one of his six pass attempts, an 18-yarder to Victor Cruz. The Giants have yet to convert a third down in three attempts.

But the Giants defense has done a good job of controlling Young and LeSean McCoy, limiting the former to five yards on one scamper and holding the latter to just a few short carries.
